Golf Carts Are Great But Can I Reduce The Cost?

Golfing No Comments »

If you look at the very first golf cart you can see that it has not changed a great deal since then. If you need to travel around a golf course the practicality of the simple golf cart becomes obvious. They are simple and very economical vehicles running on either a gas engine or a battery powered electric motor.

The worst damage you are likely to see will be a small dent where someone has failed to stop and they bumped into the golf cart but wear and tear generally is fairly minor. Purchasing a used golf cart makes so much sense when you think how long it is likely to last for the cost of purchasing it.

You can get golf carts powered by electric motors run from a battery or a cart with a gas engine and either type will not cost you a lot to run. If you care which type you use then you do have the choice but most of us don’t really care what sort of engine we are using.

When you are buying a used golf cart you should check that it has been serviced correctly. Gas powered carts will need more in the way of servicing than electric but it is a quick and simple task so it should be done regularly. The electric golf carts have far fewer moving parts and servicing often involves little more than a quick check to ensure the electrical connections are in order. With both types the wheels and brakes need to be checked but they rarely need much attention.

People like to make their golf carts look a bit special by decorating them in their own style. One day you might see a golf cart made up to look like a fire truck and another might look like a Cadillac. People enjoy standing out from the crowd of similar looking carts and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Just because they are called golf carts doesn’t mean you won’t see these handy little trucks at various alternative leisure complexes. They are used at locations such as them parks and factory sites because they are such simple and reliable little vehicles.

Not many people give much thought to the humble golf cart but they do a terrific job for a relatively small cost. You can see what a good buy these are and they can be used for various things other than as golf carts. You can find a golf cart for sale on lots of websites that have lists of carts for sale.

In the year 1932, the company came out with their signature golf ball. Throughout the years, this ball has not been changed to any large extent; however, it has undergone some improvements. While golf balls are one of the accessories that this company makes, it is by far not the only item. Anyone who plays the game of golf is familiar with this company name and probably many of their products.

The Titleist name is attached to a vast number of patents that span the whole gamut of golf. They are known for their innovations in all aspects of the sport. Just the patents connected with golf balls range from the manufacture, to testing machines to the composition of materials used to place dimples on top of the balls to the rubber golf balls. It is mind boggling as to how many inventions were made by this company. In addition, they manufacture a whole line of golf apparel that proudly displays their name and is also created to their exacting standards.

No golf and country club would be the same if it was not for the innovations extended by Titleist. They host a lot of events and a number of players. Their golf performance institute is going to hold the Golf Fitness Summit later in October in Anaheim CA. They will provide learning for beginners and classes will be held for advanced players too, to improve their game. This just goes to show how much the company in involved in the sport and to what length their involvement goes. They provide the enthusiast with everything he or she needs.

You would be hard pressed to find a golf shop or a golf store that does not carry the Titleist brand of products. This company is very well associated and well known in the world of golf. One of the reasons for this is their commitment to high quality products and to helping individuals improve their golf game. Very few golf product manufacturing companies show the type of commitment to the game that this one does. Tips to on How to Improve Your Golf Swing

Golfing No Comments »

Whether you are an armature golfer or a seasoned one there are always tips to help your swing and take some strokes off your score. Improving your golf swing is all about learning and perfecting the basic, and then you build from there. The biggest problem is that no two people are the same, and ever body is different and reacts to certain motions completely different. So they key to perfect one's golf swing in their own unique way.

The fundamentals of a swing are as follows;

1. Grip, how you hold the club.
2. Posture is how you set yourself up to the ball. This is a key to a successful golf swing. The width of your stance, the amount of knee flex, the straightening of the back is all aspects of posture. The angle the back maintains throughout the swing and the bending from the hip socket are also related to the posture
3. Pivoting, how you move your body from your head to your toes this excludes your hands and arms.
4. The hand and arm relationship, what the hands and arms do in the golf swing.
5. Alignment, how you pick and set up to your target.
6. The mental side, the ability to play without thinking about it. I would argue that this is the most important aspect of your golf game. Why is it when we get so frustrated with our poor play that you just go up and hit a great shot without thinking about it? Most sports require 90% of your mental capacity and the rest is skills. Tiger Woods is a perfect example of this principle.

The first tip would be keeping your head still and keeping your eyes fixated on the ball. Doing this will keep your club face to the hitting zone. Most often enough when you miss a shot you take your eyes off the ball, by lifting your head a split second before you take your shot.

The next tip is to relax as you approach your shot and stay relaxed through your whole swing. Gripping your club to tight and having a rigid stance will play apart in bad play, you need to relax. When you relax, let the club do the work.

So getting back to basics and relaxing should produce a lower game score and better handicap, so you will enjoy your game more.
